The Baker Band Slab Edger is perfect for edging wide material and will accept slabs as large as 24” across. It uses thin-kerf band blades instead of circular blades. Therefore, it doesn’t throw wood like circular edgers. This can also be a very versatile edger to edge slabs, boards, two-sided cants and even round logs up to 8” in diameter.

The Baker End-Dogging Scragg Mill can cut logs between 4 and 16 feet long with diameters as small as 6 inches. Use it to cut squares and boards. The end-dogging mill uses a hydraulic cylinder to hold the log on both ends during the cut. This ensures maximum accuracy for each board or square. Available in both Circle Blade or Thin-kerf Band Blade models.

The Baker Band Tri-Scragg Mill features the highest production possible with its three thin-kerf band heads. The two vertical heads slab the log while the horizontal head in the back splits the block into two three-sided cants, ready to be resawn. Each machine is custombuilt for the length of your material.

The Baker Circular Tri-Scragg Mill uses a “dip-dog” drag feed with drop links every 12” to allow end-to-end feeding. After the log is sawn by two 48” circular blades, the two-sided scragg block is then fed through a horizontal band blade. Each machine is custombuilt for the length of your material.
